Cuffs, Collars & 80s Fashion Renegades
By Andi Allen If you’re interested in iconic London fashion and how it has shaped so many of our lives, I’d highly recommend going to see 'Outlaws: Fashion Renegades of 80s London' at the Fashion and Textile Museum (ends 6th March 2025). I had the pleasure of taking my 14-year-old daughter, Yvie, recently, and she absolutely loved it! Experiencing it through her eyes made it even more special. I’ve added the link below so you can check it out for yourself. Wow! That was the only word I could muster as I wandered through the exhibition. Nostalgia hit me hard—along...

GFW Shirts is back! How and why?
By Lisa Honan, co-founder. We launched Gender Free World in February 2016, and since then, we’ve produced over 72 different shirt patterns, 13 designs of boxer shorts, pyjamas, T-shirts, and socks, to name just a few. Beware, this article is very blunt, if you're easily offended then I'd say stop reading this article now. A quick note on what is what: Non-binary: Any gender identity that isn't specifically fixed as male or female Gender-fluid: A form of non-binary gender; people may feel specifically male, female and non-binary but they 'flow' between each one naturally. I'm not lumping gender-fluid/non-binary into the...
